Q. How much does aircon installation cost?
A. A number of factors will influence your quote:
- Type and size of aircon unit you purchase
- Amount of refrigeration piping and interconnecting cable used
- Amount of cable ducting required
- Meter board upgrade (if required)
- Access
Q. How long does it take?
A. This can be determined fully upon a site inspection. Factors influencing this are of course are the type and size, good access, it’s location, the amount of cabling and piping required. As a guide, a wall mounted split system can installed in approx. 3 hours. A ducted system can take a full day.

A. We cover all Sunshine Coast areas including the Hinterland.
Q. Do you repair air conditioners are well?
A. No. We are air conditioning installers for residential dwellings only.
Q. What is the ARC Tick?
The Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) administers refrigerant handling licences and refrigeration trading authorisations to air conditioning companies on behalf of the Australian Government. Their aim is to help protect the environment and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from refrigerants. Airman is ARCtic certified.

By using an authorised business for your air conditioning installation, you’re protecting the environment. Fluorocarbons used in most air conditioners damages the environment if released and not properly treated. By using an authorised business it will be treated correctly.
Licensed businesses and technicians must work within legally mandated standards. This ensures that your air conditioning will run correctly and efficiently.
Q. Does my aircon installer need to be licensed?
A. Yes. The Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) requires all installers and technicians to hold either a full Refrigeration & Air Conditioning licence or a restricted licence.
Q. Do you supply air conditioners?
A. Yes, we can supply Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Daikin and Fujitsu air conditioners.
Q. Are you licensed to decommission and remove old air conditioning systems?
A. Yes we are licensed through ARCtic to handle refridgerants which is required when decommissioning a system.
